Alternator chargers
Alt to Batt
Alternator to battery chargers are powerful and utile solutions to improving battery charge on boats as well as on non-smart alternator vehicles.
Combining voltage control/boosting and output splitting, you have an alternator regulator and a split charger in one simple to install box!
Note : Always use current limiting charge systems for lithium batteries - or ensure exceptional cooling to the alternator.

Alternator regulators
If your goal is just to improve what your alternator is doing - giving yourself better voltage regulation and a bit more intelligence about how batteries are charged... The alternator regulator is a great choice.
This can be installed as either the only regulator for your alternator, or can be installed to take precedence over your existing alternator regulator.
-
AR12W
-Suitable for 12V alternators only -
The AR12W is a simple and effective regulator for alternators rated to ~150A or less if installed on its own- up to 300A if installed alongside an existing regulator!
Includes battery temperature sensor and summary protections for your alternator and battery system.
-
PDARW
-Suitable for 12V or 24V alternators-
Waterproof alternator regulator with advanced intelligence- monitoring the temperature of both your alternator and your battery systems.
Working in parallel with an existing regulator the PDARW is able to regulate alternators up to ~400A rated. As a standalone reg, we would expect 200A to be the comfortable limit.
