Ice Cream Vehicle Power Solution

Power demands on Ice Cream Vans have increased. If you need to run the ice cream machine, slush machine, coffee machine, fridge / freezers all from electric.

If you are prevented from running your engine whilst trading - due to councils / FPN / trading indoors / outdoors, near schools and parks etc.. Look no further.

  • Vulcan Inverter - this provides 230VAC onboard - 5.5kW. It also chargers the battery when plugged in to mains
  • 48V 125Ah Lithium battery. These store the energy for use. Use as many batteries as you can physically fit. No-one has ever complained about using too many batteries.
  • BB1248120 - DC DC Charger. This provides charge from your 12V alternator / starter battery system to the 48V battery bank.
  • BM2 - a simple battery monitor to monitor battery state of charge, w/ bluetooth and screen.

Bare minimum install would be:

  • 1x Vulcan - 240VAC inverter / charger 5,500W
  • 4x LH48125 - giving 25.6kWh of battery storage
  • 1x BB1248120 - this charges up battery when engine is on
  • 1x BM2 - a battery monitor to tell user the state of charge.
